In the UK, through Sported

Sported is the UK's largest network of community sport groups, working with over 3,000 grassroots organisations. They know which groups are doing the real work, and they help us reach the ones that others overlook.

The Power of Six puts SHOT into 72 organisations, twelve in each of six UK regions, with up to 600 athlete licences and 66 coach licences each. Free, forever, not a trial.

Priority goes to underserved communities, women and girls, disability sport and SEND provision.

Globally, through the United Nations

SHOT is a member of Football for the Goals, the United Nations initiative launched in July 2022 and run by its Department of Global Communications. It now has over 370 members across more than 120 countries, including all six FIFA confederations.

The Goals Grant runs across every one of those confederations, giving aligned partners the development and evidence layer rather than more admin.

Sport is the reach. The Sustainable Development Goals are the point.

That is our own commitment and our own number, so here is where it comes from: the Power of Six alone is 72 organisations at up to 600 athlete licences each, which at £4.99 a month is over £35,000 a year per organisation. The Goals Grant then runs on top of it, globally, across all six confederations. Multi-club, multi-sport, every continent.

For clubs and associations

Running the club costs nothing and never will. But your club has a code, and when your members choose premium using it, money comes back to you.

The club keeps a share

Not a discount and not a voucher. Actual money back to the club, to spend on whatever the club actually needs: kit, equipment, pitch hire, coach education, a minibus, a project that has been on the list for three years.

Your members were going to develop anyway. This way the club grows from it.

It runs all the way up the ladder

The same mechanism works at league, association, county and federation level. A county body with a hundred clubs underneath it builds a local fund from its own membership.

Two things sit outside that: PERFORM evaluations and the Individual Development Plan. That is the whole list. They are £4.99 a month, the same price whoever you are, and what changes is only who is holding it and why.

Who holds premium, and why they would

Nobody is upgraded on anyone else’s behalf, and nobody has to upgrade to keep using the app.

An Athlete

£4.99a month

Because the record is about them. An evaluation runs against their own development plan, so it is their account that unlocks it. Across as many sports as they play, and it travels with them between clubs.

A parent or guardian

£4.99a month

One subscription, up to three children. Each child across every sport they play, with Guardian View, consent and the age-tier controls included. One payment for the household, not one per child per club.

A coach

£4.99a month

Premium is not just for Athletes. A coach takes it for the session planner, ALEX enhanced personalisation, or a development record of their own, because coaches are developing too and their progress is their record. Unlimited clubs and teams either way, and a coach never pays simply to evaluate somebody who already holds one.

The rule underneath all of it. An evaluation happens against the Athlete's own record, so it is the Athlete's account that unlocks it. A coach does not pay to evaluate somebody who already holds one. A coach pays only when they want something of their own: their plan, their sessions, their record. ALEX helps everybody for free; the personalised version is the paid part, whoever you are.

One separate thing

Everything above is free: fixtures, attendance, messaging, lineups, session planning, the curriculum and the safeguarding that goes with it, in every sport. Taking money is the one part that is not, because moving money has a real cost attached to it that we do not control.

It is a separate module and it is not switched on by default. Ask us for it and we will set it up with you. A club that never wants to collect a penny through SHOT never has to think about this section.

What it costs

Standard Stripe fees, passed straight through, plus a small admin fee. We are not building a margin into your subscriptions and we are not taking a percentage of a club’s membership income.

You can run the whole club without ever switching it on.

Which model fits you

A grassroots club collecting monthly subs, an academy invoicing termly and a county body handling affiliation fees are three different problems. There is more than one way to set it up.

to the Athlete.

The £4.99 is not a feature behind a paywall. It is an account, and the reason it has to be an account is the whole idea of the thing.

A framework is a curriculum

Forty-seven sports, seven levels, the focus areas and coach actions already written. Any coach picks one up and runs the session against it.

Free, forever. Nothing to pay and nobody to ask.

A plan is not a framework

A framework is the same for everyone in that sport at that level. A plan is one person: what they are working on, what they said about it, what changed.

It is a record of a person, so it has to be held by that person.

Feedback goes both ways

The coach scores the block. The Athlete reflects on the same block. That is the entire point of it, and it does not work if one end is a club account with nobody behind it.

A coach does it on your behalf. Somebody still has to be the you.

One plan, every coach you train with

A PE teacher, a Sunday league coach, a strength coach, a county coach. Twenty of them if that is what a season looks like. All feeding the same record, none of them owning it.

The Athlete decides who sees it, and a parent holds it until they are old enough to.

We never bill a club per member.

There is no per-head charge and no bill landing on a volunteer treasurer. When somebody changes club, changes sport, leaves school or turns up at a county trial, the record goes with them, because it was theirs.

A club can still choose to pay for it. Some clubs and academies cover premium for their members and fold it into their fees, so every member gets an ID and a development record as part of joining. That is a good use of it and we support it. The distinction that matters is not who pays the invoice, it is who holds the record: it stays in the member’s name, and it leaves with them when they do.
